Ambient Monitoring Program Database Description

The online database consists of current and archived meteorological and air quality data from locations throughout Georgia. Additional data may be available off-line. Contact the Ambient Monitoring Program for further information.

All meteorological data in the database consists of Surface Aviation Observations collected for Georgia by the National Weather Service (NWS). These data are archived here for convenience only. The Air Protection Branch is not responsible for the the accuracy or quality of any NWS meteorological data. Data were first archived on 03/12/96 and continue through the current date.
The tables below describe the online database for ozone, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen, particulate matter (fine), and particulate matter. This database contains only raw data. No quality assurance (QA) validation procedures have been applied.

Ozone (O₃)

Ozone is currently monitored March 1 - October 31 using the method of ultraviolet photometry.
